In Love with Jays Catering!

I recently had the pleasure of attending a tasting for one of my happy couples Ashley and Nick's wedding at Jays Catering in Garden Grove.(I met with representatives of Jays Catering recently at the Ceremony magazine event at the Richard Nixon Library) Let me first start off by saying what an amazing room to have your tasting in!! Jays catering hosts a tasting every other Tuesday of the month for there clients to come in and go over a few of there items. I was more then impressed!! The food was amazing!! We fist walked in to a lobby-like area where tall cocktail tables with floor length linens were set up all across the area, small votive candles adorned the table to give it that warm feeling, we were greeted by photographers and florists alike before we got to our coordinator Alayne.(side note, we were the only ones she was taking care of so it was like being pampered at your wedding already!) The hors' d'oeuvre's were tray passed by Jays catering staff and the bar was serving signature champagne cocktails! you were able to walk around and mingle while viewing the place setting, napkins and linens available to choose from. We were then called into another room which was gorgeous! tall ceilings Flat screen TV's round tables with floor length champagne linens, and fresh cut flowers everywhere! the second you walked in you could smell the sugar of the cupcake tower in the corner of the room. After an hour and a half of gorging ourselves on amazing selections from sea bass to tri-tip to sesame seed salad with Cherry's we were able to help our selves to a Starbucks coffee bar filled with chocolate shavings, real whipped cream, sugarcane sticks and so much more! Needless to say Ashley and Nick were thrilled and chose Jays catering for there big day!! The presentation was amazing and it was a fun and up beat atmosphere compared to the stuffy one on one menu tastings you can sometimes have. I would recommend them to anyone!! As always ask for Alayne!! :)
